Another rotted turbo hose...

First there was the 90 ell at the bottom of the turbo to IC, now the one at the other end of the pipe to the IC is crumbling. My boost is beginning to leak out, and will probably blow this thing soon.
Question: The connection to the IC looks difficult to get to from under the hood or under the car, what is the easiest way to get at this thing? The pipe end is a breeze. Please don't tell me I have to take the bumper off, my wife sees this and she will lose all hope.
These things are dying in the order of hottest ones first, which is no suprise. Be neat if they were stainless braided, like the feed lines that go to my washing machine and toilets. Sad to think that the toilet is an upscale commodity compared to my Saab...maybe I shouln't be suprised here either. Duct tape?
