Steering wander?

Hi all. Just purchased a 94 900SE 2.0 turbo 5 speed and I'm reasonably pleased so far. Checked the service history with the dealer before finally buying the car and I think I got a fair deal. DI cassette had been changed, so had the clutch, but still needs work. After a month (and 5k km) of driving the car, I've noticed this unnerving tendency of the wheels to wander on an uneven surface. It also does this on a straight and level surface under acceleration (feels like the steering wheel is almost disconnected from everything else, and almost 'jumps' from one lane to another). This was brought to the dealer, who changed the front shocks, thrust bearings, bump stops and the LH CV joint. The dealer was also asked to check the integrity of the suspension bits and pieces, which he says he did. The wander still persists even after swapping wheels with a spare set in the shop; the only difference was a reduction of road noise. Wheel alignment also didn't help, but then again only the toe-in was adjusted. The car had only 80k km on the clock when it was purchased. I do not mind spending some money on getting the car to where it becomes a pleasure to drive (and is not a menace on the roads) but there is a limit to the bank account. Would appreciate advice from anyone who's had a similar experience. Thanks guys.
