Rear shocks should be replaced as well, depending on how fresh they are. Easy and cheap. And they affect things a lot more than the fronts, trust me!
It could be the tie rods. Make sure there is no play in them. Check the tie rod ends for any slack. They are also easy and cheap.
Try to get the final alignment specs from the shop that did the alignment. Most likely, it is too late. Most shops will give you a printout if you ask in advance. The fact that the front toe-in was adjusted does not guarantee anything. You need to look at front camber and castor, as well as rear toe-in. If there is any toe out in the rear, you will see the symptoms like you describe.
Your steering may be worn. The steering rack is suspect, as is the whole steering column. I am not sure how to check this, check with a master tech.
Finally, tires can make a huge difference. I found the POS Michelins that SAAB insists on using as OEM to be horrible tires. Despite the fact that they are practically the most expensive tires in their size category. I hate Michelins. I got some Dunlop SP A2s, and they are head and shoulders above the stupid MXV4s... Not perfect but a good compromise for the NG900.
