thanks for the input graham...completed this afternoon..all four bolt heads were ripped off. i hosed all four down with pb break free, let them sit for 10-15min, then proceeded to try and muscle out with a punch and a hammer. i couldn't get good leverage with the hammer, and ended up giving the sway bar itself a few good knocks with the hammer...this just knocked the sway bar off!...thought it was smooth sailing from here, but couldn't get the remaining bolt (with attached 'plate') off the backside due to the bottom of the rear spring housing keeping the bolt from sliding all the way out....so i reached for the dremel and cut off the ends of the bolts (taking great care not to hit those brake lines!!) and was able to slide the plate and remaining bolt out...easy and straight forward from there..
it was around 30F here in DC today, so after finishing, i ran inside...haha, so i haven't had a chance to try it out yet....after rock creek parkway opens up, i will take it through some 'twisties' and hopefully i get the same impression as others here!!
