Same thing happened to me as well at Wal-mart. Wife drove the car home, approx 5 miles. When I tried to drive the car later, it would barely budge, tranny was just slipping away. After topping off the tranny w/ a couple quarts of oil, it was fine. Didn't have any problems since. I got lucky, but have never nor will ever be back.
