Hi guys,
Last week I posted a question about a problem that just seems to have have started recently.
I think the pictures will explain it alot better than my words did.
The response I received about my problem indicated that I just need to wet the top down and let it dry in the sun which will tighten the fabric back up. Im in Ohio...so its going to be awhile before Im able to do that :((( (DAMN SNOW...enough already!)
If I gently pull on the seem that runs along the top of the door...it totally goes away.
Other than the sag/loose material...the roof and fabric is in excellent condition. Thats why this has me alarmed (let alone it looks like crap!)
With the light from the snow in the background, it makes the problem look worse than it actually is. But it should give you guys a good visual of the problem that Im talking about.
So, what do you think? Will the fabric tighten back up if and when summer ever gets here and I wash it and let it dry in the nice warm air or is it something more?
Also, is it safe to take the top thru a car wash? I hate going thru a car wash in any car but I hate the salt build up even more. I do alot of travelling on the interstate, etc and its doesnt take long at all for it to build up (as is evident in the pics). Should I stick with a manual car wash just to knock the salt off instead of an automatic?
Thanks for your input guys!!
