2 weeks ago I reported a headgasket failure on this forum for my modded 97 900 turbo with 90k km. Coolant was spraying out under boost. After much negotiations between my mechanic and the extended warranty co, they finally started work. Apparently, the rightmost (left?) headbolt was so loose it could be removed by hand.

I guess I got caught by loose headbolt issue plaguing NG900s that has been reported in this forum. Does anyone know of a TSB or Saab goodwill program to address this manufacturing defect?

Fortunately covered under extended warranty, but I still have to pay a deductible. While the head is off, I am having it ported and polished.
