But a couple of things stands out to be a little bit over the line, so I would suggest to you to get a second opinion.
Also, is this a dealer? $90.00 an hour is up where the expensive dealers charge for an hour.
Around $60-65.00 is the going rate for most independant Saab specialists.
8-10 hours for head gasket is normal rate.
The serpentin belt should be only parts, no labor involved since everything is off anyway with the headgasket.
Trans mount is on the money with his labor rate.
Did you hit something that may have bent the control arms?
As you can see, this is a cost that is created by the driver, maybe the former owner.
The seat problem is another ticket covering almost a third of the total estimate.
Headgasket,hoses and serpentin belt is what you should focus on.
So for a $90.00/hour rate he is fairly correct in his estimate.
