Just bought my 97 SE cv two weeks ago, pulling to one side severly. Tires appear fairly new. Got an (4 wheel) alignment, it was way off of course, mech. rotated tires/balanced and aligned to specs. Said tires were cupped and would take awhile to wear even, maybe another rotation. I get in the car and have the exact same symptons as you. Vibrations mostly between 50-60, Deep rumbling especially when slowing down. Took it back to mech. No prob he said, just cupped tires. Took it to another mech. Tires balanced again, the weren't off. Bearings are fine. Brakes are fine. (I was sure they both were toast) The second mechanic state "all tires are seriously cupped, may never smooth out. On one hand I'm relieved, but damn, these tires appear brand new. I got rid of my 87 because I couldn't get rid of a vibration and $10,000 on a "new" Saab, here it is again.
