I have searched on this board and found at least 3 different answers to what the NGK BCP6EV plugs should be gapped at.
I have a 1996 2.3L 4cyl AT *** NON TURBO ***
The plugs come .024 inches out of the box (the same as someone on the board recommended?!)
Others have recommended .023 inches but I think they owned Turbo models for which the gapping is different.
Sysop said 1mm (which is .034 inches I think).
Haynes manual for my 2.3L Non Turbo says "Champion plugs gapped to .8mm") which is about .031 inches.
Will the true gapping please stand up? Any Saab mechanic care to answer the question for me? Anders perhaps???
Thank you.
Tom
