No offense Dick, but if the tranny flush is a potential DIY task, I don't see what would be so complicated that would prevent an actual mechanic at a non Saab shop from doing a good job. I definitely lean toward my Saab dealer on the more unique aspects of Saab repair, but some of the stuff is pretty basic, and to me is worth the savings. Like I said, I have been pleased with the tranny flush, and the brake flush for what it's worth, that Midas did. The quirky nature of these cars is one of my personal frustrations. I get one because they are unique and I like that sort thing, but when you get under the hood, sometimes you pay for that uniqueness.
