96 900s engine replacement w used 82k engine?

What if anything need attention before installing engine. EX. clean oil pan, clean any sludge,replace ballance shaft guides before they melt,change temp sensor and thermostat.
Should the tourque converter be flushed...
This is a 1996 900s 107k old 2.3l non turbo lost oil pressure and wiped out #3 rod bearing and seized balance shafts. Head still good.
Found a 82k 2.3 in vermount and it's being shiped right now.
On past threads it looks like someattention should be paid to prevent overheating and sludge buildup...
Also does th automatic trans have a history of failure and at what milage. If so what fails.
Now would be the time to pull it down.....
The rest of the car is mint. Black 5 door w leather.
The car has been sittig for 6 months and there might bee clutch dust heavy spot in tourque converter....
