Noise Coming from Crankshaft Pulley?

Hi, sorry for the long message. I have a 96' 900 S Turbo with 145,000km. A bit of history, when I bought the car a few months ago, the upper pulley siezed and they replaced it. A month ago, the water pump pulley started making noise and I replaced it.
The car was good until a couple days ago when a chattering noise started up. I thought it was coming from the plastic pulley above the crank pulley, I took it out of the picture and installed the short belt configuration. Upon removal, the plastic pulley was indeed bad, (like little rocks when turning) but the noise was still there. I found out that the noise was coming from the crank pulley (or area behind it). For curiousity, I took off the valve cover for a visual. The chain and the chain/sprokets on top look great and that sprocket that you can barely see way down looks good too.
The noise is a chattering/scraping type. Wierd thing is from what I can tell, if you just start the car and idle, no noise but when you start moving (putting load on pulley?) the noise will start and continue whether idle or driving. Does anyone else agree with this or have any opinions?
