Just hit 150k miles in my 98 SET Talledega
Lots of posts about cost of ownwership, etc, so I thought the following might be of interest.
The car has been serviced every 12,000 miles from new, as per UK service recommendations.
I bought the car last July, on 104k miles, up to then all but one service (at 90k miles) were by the supplying main dealer. I have had my servicing done by a local mechanic, using Castrol Magnatec semi synthetic, and genuine SAAB oil filters (£ 2.85 from Euro Car Parts)
Apart from fluids and filters as above, the only things done have been:
42,321 miles front tyres (Michelin Pilot)
54,466 miles rear tyres (Michelin Pilot)
66,271 miles, front brake pads and discs
78,429 miles, serpentine belt
80,710 miles, front tyres (Pirelli P6000)
92,166 miles, rear brake pads and discs
110,223 miles, front tyres (Hankook Ventus)
137,705 miles, clutch, end and driveshaft seals (preventative), idler pulleys (2) Serpentine belt (unmarkerd, but replaced anyway while the pulleys werre done)
139,114 miles, rear tyres (Hankook Ventus)
141,301 miles, front brake pads, rear shocks.
All of the above are notrmal wear and tear, except the idlers, which were inexpensive.
The car is on it's original exhaust, DI cassette etc, and uses no oil, and still gives excellent performance, and looks the part.
The only other thing which might need attention is the air con, which needs re gassing (£75 at a local specialist).
The car has been 100% reliable, and even handles OK now the shocks are new, and belies tales of NG900's being expensive to own.
