It's basically an inductive magnet. So you should see varying voltage between the yellow wire (pin 1, opposite the latch button) and ground. The voltage at cranking rpm will probably be aroun 5 volts, jumping up and down.
The resistance between pins 1 and 2 (1-2-3-4-latch) should be 860+/-90 Ohm.
The connector is located under the intake resonator.
The sensor itself in clearly visible next to exhaust manifold on drivers front side of the block. It has a long electrical cable going under the resonator.
