Since Saab used Motronic quite happily on non-turbo engines and other marques used Motronic on turbo engines (like my Volvo 855T), why did they bother developing trionic? Is it that much better? Are the royalties to Bosch that onerous? Did it really pay to develop Trionic? Who really did shoot J.R.?
Just a passing thought, but if anybody knows the scoop I'd enjoy the tale.
