I got my SID bulbs from the dealer. Expensive too. It's doubtful that anyone else carries them, but I think it's worth a hunt. I suspect the Internet is probably a better source than your local auto parts stores. At least, Autozone and Advance Auto (partsamerica.com) are no help. I've already checked. I did not check NAPA.
The SID bulbs have that darn white plastic base just like the "dealer-only" bulb in the window switch pack, etc.
Michael p once got some compatible bulb from Radio Shack to fit the dealer-only ACC bulbs, but I think he said they were a bit dimmer.... Maybe they've got something?
I cannot believe that Saab makes its own bulbs. There must be an OEM. If we can even locate a manufacter's number to cross-ref with the Saab part number, that would be a start. Maybe a Euro supplier or Euro online source? Would the same bulb be used in Opel/Vauxhaull/GM?
