It sounds like it may be to late to do just the basic repair, I hope not. First thing is to take a look at the link below, and see if you can try to fix it that way. Before trying the brace I would try to use the hose clamps and see if that corrects it. If it does, consider yourself lucky because it doesn't sound good. And then add the brace. If that doesn't work you are more than likely looking at a new motor which at the dealer is very expensive.Some where around $1200-1300ish plus labor. You can pick up a rebuilt for around 400ish and either install it yourself, or pay an indy to do it. There are numerous post on here regarding this problem. Do a search under Tonneau. Good luck... Whatever you do, DON'T attemp to use it any further as is...
