When I went from a 1990 nonturbo 900 to a 97 Turbo SE after the power hangover wore off I was really disapointed with the handling. Doing the steering brace (KIC) and bushings made the car almost respond like the classic 900(heavy almost). I autocross my car and still struggle with understeer despite the SAS swaybar. However compared with the way it drove before the upgrades it is a vast improvement. Steering rack brace was super easy, bushing were done by an independant shop. I got a lot of phone calls that day and even had to draw a picture for where they were to be placed. Doesn't help that the Haynes manual has different names for all the suspension parts. Anybody good at translating the Kings English?
