my car was hit--need advice on repairs

my absolutely mint 94 900 v6 was hit in the front drivers side area. a driver parked his car and did not put it in park or use the emergency brake. his car picked up some steam, and hit my parked car perpendicular to the front driver's wheel, fender and door.
i don't want to get screwed on this one. the insurance company is going to replace the fender with an used saab unit. the door has a bend about 1 inch in from the front bottom of the door. they say they can fix it without replacing the door. they wanted to replace the front wheel with an aftermarket viking wheel, but i insisted that i had 4 saab wheels before this guy hit my car--and i want 4 saab wheels afterwards too. they are going to do the alignment in the front, but i wonder if the wheel hub, brakes, front suspension components, and more should be replaced.
a body shop is doing the body work (kc colors in leawood, kansas), and i requested that the saab dealer (georges imports in kansas city, missouri) do the suspension/mechanical work.
the insurance adjuster's job is too pay as little as possible. my job is to make sure my car get's repaired properly. any advice on how i can do my part is much appreciated.
thanks,
john
