three little annoying things

1. So in my 97 900 SE coupe, the passenger's electric seat back does not work. The fore/aft/up/down bottom section is functioning normally. Since the seat does tend to get folded forward occasionally to allow passengers into the back, I thought it might be the wires that run alongside the hinge, but they do not seem to be compromised, at least not externally.
2. Likewise in the aforementioned vehicle, the right windshield washer does not squirt. The left functions normally. I did a search and read about check valves and how to fix them but I don't know where they are located. I looked under the hood and the underside of the hood has a kind of carpeting or soundproofing material on it, and I'm guessing some of the washer tubing is under there.
3. The car makes a honking/groaning/moaning/shuddering noise at idle or very low speeds (at least that's when I can hear it). I believe it originates in the A/C system somewhere because the noise does not occur when the ACC is off or in econ mode. The A/C performs totally normally, but the noise is annoying. It sounds like the car is breaking wind, i.e. it's not a constant sound, just a short (1-3 seconds) little periodic blast.
I'd prefer not to go to the dealer for the first two relatively minor things. They already fixed the washer thing once and it was only functional for a week before it became non-operational again. Can anyone provide any advice? Thanks.
