Dean,
you are the man!
I just got back from a test drive and the car was fine in the stop&go traffic. I disconnected the hose from the evap control valve to the TB and capped the TB inlet to simulate a closed valve. The rpms did not go significantly down but there was no more hesitation when I open the gas tank cap or on the stops.
Now how do I know if the evap control valve is bad itself or the electrical signal to it is incorrect?
Also the rpms are still @1000/min. I bought the car used two months ago and I guess somebody messed with the idle speed unable to find the real cause for stalling. Is there a way to set it back to 850 as per SAAB specs?
Thanks a lot, man!
B.I.
