Now you know how easy it is to slacken the belt and feel how the pully is doing. You know about the holes to lock the adjuster in a slack-belt position?
So you know how the mechanic loosened the belt as well.
Thats not the tensioner pully, is the upper idler wheel. The tensioner pully is lower and a large stamped steel wheel. Its bearing rarely fails.
