Timing guide disintegration

What to fix? This summer I purchased my '96 900S 2.3 with 155K. It was owned by my brother who had it serviced only by the dealer. The timing chain started making noise about a month ago. To shorten the story the Check engine light came on, I got the car home, pulled the engine and found the upper timeing guide had broken, got chewed up in the chain and gears, what was left clogged the sump screen causing the check engine light. Compression is good, the car uses no oil, I'm getting 30 MPG. I'm planning on replacing the timing and balance chains, gears and guides and the main bearings. Is there something I'm overlooking? The cams and top end look good. Thanks, Bob
