a lot of frustration when it comes time to removing the balance sprockets.
Are you taking the engine out of the car or do it in situ? It sounds like engine is out already?
The rear part of head gasket that seals against timing cover gets really mushy with age and you probably gonna end up with an oil leak if not replaced.
Carefully check the timing cover for scratches and scrapes at oil pump area and replace oil pressure reducing valve.
It's not nessecary to replace timing chain sprockets since they hold up pretty good, unless they are chewed up by chain.
Oil pressure switch is a must to replace.
