Hello all,
It's getting to the point that Oem shocks and struts are getting weak and uncomfortable. I've decided that next summer, I am going to have new strut inserts, mounts, and bearings put in the front as well as rear shocks. I have researched prices and such and I am looking into KYB and Bilstein shocks and struts. I do not have enough money to lower the car and buy the Koni's. Can I buy the Bilstein's without having to buy the springs? I want to try to keep this car through college or put 200,000 miles on it. It currently has 92,000 miles on it. What is needed in the rear end besides the shocks? I was thinking of doing a combo with maybe KYB rear shocks and Bilstein strut inserts. What mounts and bearings should I use? I want the ride to be sporty but not to hard. I also want the replacement shocks and strut inserts to last at least 75,000 miles at the very minimum. Please help and assist me in the best purchase and combo. Thanks in advance.
