From what we have seen on the BBS, it seems the KYB shocks and mounts are good at first, then take a dump in a short time. We have seen the KYB mounts break, and the shocks seem to have a short lifespan.
Boge/Sachs are a good middle ground between the KYBs and the Bilsteins.
Its worth the extra $$, especially if you are keeping the car for a long time. Take it from me....a guy who "went cheap" and put KYB fronts on my 86 9000T when I was a poor college student. They were great a first, but 6 months later I replaced them with Boge/Sachs because one of them was hard as a rock, and the other bounced like a Buick. In the end it would have cost much less to have gone for the good quality parts first.
