Remember that the Blizzak's have a coating that wears off halfway through their life, turning them from exceptional snow tires to mediocre ones. I am from New Hampshire and now live in Russia. In both places, both with Saabs and without, Nokian Haqqapallitta (sp?) and/or Gislaved Norfrost 2 or 3 tires are very good. They are made in Finland and are sold by most Saab or Volvo dealers. I regard many of the things my dealer sells as a rip-off, but these are not. My old 9000CD turbo had only two front ones, and it was fine unless coming over a rise and a curve at the same time; the back end would slide out. My family's 2 900's have 4, and this is the safest way to go. Toyo also makes a serious snow tire that is quite good. Also remember that these tires are winter only and should be swapped off in the spring and never driven at truly high speeds.
