not sure about oil, although in my classic 900 i used a higher number oil, can't remember numbers (i think 20w-40 or higher, can't remember specific number). my mechanic recommended me to put this in because my car was outside in the minnesota cold winter all the time. changed to this oil and it made the start ups much easier, but would idle high until warm, but it did start every time, regardless of temp. impressive for such an old car. i only ran this oil in the winter.
in my NG900, i just use standard 5w-30, and it seems to be doing just fine.
on my NG900 i have blizzaks, and depending on the driving i do i vary the psi. for clear roads and highway i go 33-35, but if it snows a bunch i let air out to like 25-28 ish. i guess i don't mind much filling up the tires a decent amount. i only deflate if it's pretty bad out with snow and ice. otherwise blizzaks do well at any psi for me.
