Strut and Shock replacement

Hello all,
I currently own a '96 900S 3dr with 97.2k miles. I am beginning to realize that the struts and shocks are growing weaker. Will Blistein HD shocks and struts last with the stock shocks?? I don't plan on changing them again during the life of the car. Basically, I need at least 75,000 more miles. I plan on doing the rear shocks myself as I have heard they are easy. But, the front struts will probally be replaced by either an indy or a front end shop. I do have a few questions regarding strut mounts and strut bearings. Many owners who do their struts seem to replace the mounts and bearings as well. Do I need to do this? I was planning on replacing the bearings as they were only 12.00 a piece on EEuroparts. Why do most owners replace the mounts? Thats about it. Thanks in advance.
