There is a low oil pressure light on the dash just above the turbo boost pressure gauge. It should light with the ignition switch is turned on (before starting the car). If it is not lit, then the oil pressure sensor may have gone bad or the wiring has become disconnected. Search for "oil pressure sensor" on this BB for instructions about replacement.
