I have the same problem on my Convertible's Cosmic Blue paint. I have studied this problem at length and have tried to have the acid rain etching buffed out by a detailer using an orbital buffer. No success. I am convinced that wet sanding is the only solution. Body shops seem to be the only people who will tackle this. I am not experienced with an orbital buffer (I have a PC dual action) so I don't want to try it myself. (Even though McGuire's has a great "how to" video on their website.) I am still looking for someone who will do it for a resonable fee. I have one estimate from a good bodyshop that wants $360 (ouch!). I would welcome any input from those who had wet sanding done or did it themself.
