Calcium deposit baked onto hood

How can I remove calcium drippings off the hood? I parked under the train station and this white calcium dripped then baked onto the hood. I've tried: polishing compound (very little diff), bug and tar remover(nothing. This is really giving me a hard time. Help Please...
