You could try this. If this is indeed calcium, then it should be soluble in acid. For example, if you put a bone in vinegar overnight, the bone decalcifies and turns rubbery. Maybe get some modeling clay and build a wall around the deposit, with the clay covering the paint just up to deposit. Fill up the well you created with plain white vinegar and let it sit, maybe overnight. Coca cola should work as well, since coke's pH is around 2.4 due to the carbonic and phosphoric acid in it. I bet either one of those would work, but I cannot gurantee that it won't hurt your paint, but I would think that either coke or vinegar won't, as they are fairly mild in terms of acidity. You could also try a product called CLR, that is for calcium, lime, and rust stains, which is used in bathrooms to clean stains, but I am sure that is more potent than vinegar and coke. If you wanted to be really aggressive you could get some Muratic acid, found in pool supply stores, but that stuff is really strong and I would be wary to try that first, maybe as a last resort, but if you do, you should add it to the well and watch it and as soon as you think it is working, douse it with water to avoid any paint damage, but again, that would be my last resort.
