I going to place an order today for the polisher kit (PC, backing plate and pads, polishes and case all in one), and plan to do a top to bottom exterior detailing over the long July 4th weekend.
I am also planning on claying my '93 9k (scarabe green) for the first time. Any recommenations of clay products? I am thus far leaning towards Prima Clay by Detailer's Paradise or the BlackFire clay.
Also going to try the CR-40 cleaner/sealant to bring back my black trim. I'll post an update on my experiences.
P.S. I've already done the interior using Vinylex for dash and trim, Wurth window cleaner, Lexol Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. Looks like new except for the front seat bottoms which I think I need to move to a leather restorer like Surflex or Leatherique. Just need to do the carpeting and the interior is done (any suggestions?)
Thanks again for all the info.
