as it goes away after a time, or I can remove it by water polishing. Also the "shadow" is darker where the wax was thicker, so more solvent is being absorbed. I thought multiple wax coats would help, as it would build up a protective layer, but I guess not huh? Anyway it is an old car and it still looks great, so I am not going to worry too much about it. Thanks.
