With a brand new car, I would claybar the car to remove any embedded contaminants. A very mild polish applied with a foam polishing pad to ensure the paint is pristine. I would then use a sealant like Meguairs NXT, Klasse Sealant Glaze, Menzerna Full Metal Jacket, or Zaino. The NXT is the least durable, but available locally at stores. Then top with a good pure carnauba wax (not cleaner wax) such as P21S, Collonite 845, or S100. The wax will give off a warmer glow and protect the sealant for longevity. Depending on you area, you could apply the wax about every 4-6 weeks, and do a full on detail of clay, polish, sealant, and wax 1-2 times a year. You should evaluates the condition of your paint after every washing, and never go through a car wash.
I would also recommend a clear bra to prevent front-end damage. This should applied professionally, and should be done prior to any sealants being put on the car.
