first time posting on the detailing page...
This car is black, so EVERY little blemish shines through.
when the wife is home, I have to park it on the street, under a tree that drops these berries this time of year. well, they sat a couple days while I was away and now I have these little hazy splotches where they sat. went to the car wash to try and get them off spent a long time scrubbing, spraying, scrubbing all to no avail.
upon drying it and getting home, I tried using some paint cleaner (with a rubbing pad on a wireless drill, McGuire's) to 'buff' these out. that did very little. it made the surrounding areas look great, which really just made the splotches stand out more, haha!
I'd really like to wax this car for the winter, but I don't want to seal these splotches in there. maybe waxing it will rub these out, that's what a friend thought?
anybody out there recommend anything for this. is there a strong but not so strong material (that it kills the clearcoat) I could wash it with?
or am I looking at getting some rubbing compound and attacking it that way?
thanks in advance for any suggestions guys!
