Most of the major car wax mfr's have Detailing Guides on their websites that help you with the steps to car care and offer simple yet effective tips and tricks. I'll include a few links, read them when you get a chance. Eagle One and Meguiars have detailing videos on their websites which are also helpful to visualized the work involved.

The detailing tips at this website are fantastic. From the basics like proper washing and drying to the advanced stuff like how to use clay bars and polishers. Download that free detailing guide and use as a reference.

I think that's enough reading to get you started. Come on back when you have more questions. We'll be here.
