my 900 says front to back, back to front .. tires on same side
the fords that my parents have had have varied .. some had tires stay on same side and move like the saab .. others had like a star pattern.
I think a lot also has to do with if you car has unidirectional tires or not.
as for "radial pull" .. I beleive that as the tire wears in, the radial belts are set due to the gravitational forces from rolling in one direction. As soon as the tire goes the other way it starts to seperate. (but don't quote me on that)
