is the filter on the C900 vertical? the V6 and 2.0 turbo are horizontal. Pre filling a horizontal filter gets messy.

When I was working on trucks it was common practice to pre fill the spin-on filters on the Mack engines. They had 2 or 3 (depending on engine model) spin on filters that hung vertically on the side of the engine. each filter held about 2 qts of oil. On the ESI engines (3 filters) the total oil capacity was 60 qts. Detroit Diesels at that time had those wonderful canister type filters. Messy no matter how carefully you took it off and impossible to pre fill.
