Griot's Garage products are awesome. The fact is, you can't beat their policies. Yeah, you can buy "similar" products to what they sell elsewhere, but I have found that usually those products are only similar in outward appearance. No matter what you buy from them, it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTEE! A buddy of mine bought the porter cable that griot's sells somewhere else and saved $50.00. Mine cost $50.00 more but came with a special backing plate, some duct work to use it as a dustless sander, a molded case and the lifetime warrantee (his has a 1 year warrantee through porter cable). They're great stuff, I've had an issue with one of my towels I bought through them, I sent it back and they replaed it with no questions asked. It is true the stuff costs more up front, but you will have the item for the rest of your life...try to find that anywhere else!
