Hey bRad,
Have you ever down shifted and felt a lurch just like you stepped
on your brake? Well, in this case, the clutch and engine serve as brakes
and neither should be used for this purpose.
Besides, a nice blip drives chicks crazy. When I was driving my
Wrangler and living in San Diego, I would drive by the beaches
and blip my 4.0 I6, and like moths to a flame, girls in bikinis would
dive right in. Of course, my devastating good looks didn't hurt either.
