and give them info on your target car. In a minute or two they can tell you what it would cost to have it one or both insured.
Always nice to have a second car on the road. Bad side of keeping two cars is the extra cost. Although you may get a multicar discount it still will cost a lot more to ensure 2 than 1 (crazy that they charge you twice for liability although only one car is on the road at a time). Perhaps you can look at insuring one as a limited (minimal miles) pleasure only (no school/work) vehicle. That might help keep the rates down. Otherwise, if you live in the rust belt you might just want to park one for winter.
