What's wrong with it? (Bitter laughter) Let's start with what's right with it...it's a gorgeous Saab, rock-solid, a great model from a great year, and a rust-free southern car. It's what he wanted, and he's happy :)

What's wrong with it...wow. The biggies are a new gas tank, a new power steering pump, and a leaking oil pan. There are a million twiddly little thing like iffy locks, a fussy sunroof switch, non-functioning headlight wipers, missing interior bits, and possible issues with the seat heaters. Then there are lesser cosmetic things like the leather seats aren't in great condition. The car was a bargain price, so none of this is a big surprise. But I get a stomach ache thinking about all of it. (I also suffer great fears about my own car, whose flaws are more familiar but no less scary. For example I think my turbo doesn't sound so good, I heard a loud thump from the transmission the other day when I shifted into neutral, and it's still wet inside from the leaking sunroof in the last storm.)

Sincere promises that we will have pics available within the month (car won't be here for another 2-3 weeks). Turrbo, you're local, maybe you can see it in person when it arrives!
