Supposedly, there aren't supposed to be any threads that are 'political'. This thread contains a lot of matter with arguments concerning workers vs capitalists, capitalist vs socialists, etc. Most of the threads involve ideology that is explicitly pro-free market, pro-capitalist, and implicitly anti-working class, anti-socialist - some are outright explicit. Where I went to school (Massachusetts - recently found to be at the top of the list of 'smartest states') it was considered enlightening to have both sides of an argument presented. However, I'm reluctant to waste my time arguing when the 'official' policy is to have no 'political' content. Yet, I'm really tired and, to be honest, disgusted, hearing how it's greedy workers who constrain manufacturers from exploiting them for as much profit as they can get. It's kind of like the old, worn-out mantra that we still tend to get about inflation - it's greedy workers who have too much money chasing too few goods. Does anyone really believe that it was greedy workers that caused the hyper-inflation in Weimar & nazi Germany? The 'no politics' rule should be enforced for both sides if you really want to be fair about this.......
