I don't know how accurate it is, I bought one to do winter wheel changes.
I figure that even if the thing is off by 15 to 20%, it is still better than someone using an air wrench or manually over-torquing the lugs. Also, at least all the lugs are torqued to a consistent amount.
TireRack also sells the Gorilla wrench with sockets, also great to have in the trunk for taking off wheels.
