Beam vs. clicker

I have both types and change full sets tires about 20 or so times a year (autocrossing & swapping rims between two c900s for various reasons). The beam is not hard to use, is less expensive, and, when comparing a Sears beam to a Sears clicker-type, about as accurate. If all you are using it for is swapping tires a couple times a year, I recommend a beam type.
The clicker type is a bit easier to use because you don't have to look at a gauge, but is more expensive, and, as noted above, Sears vs. Sears, no more accurate.
Accuracy isn't really critical for lugnuts; it's not like you're installing a cylinder head. Any torque wrench will be close enough; concentrate on getting the same torque for each lugnut to miminize risk of rotor warpage and you'll be fine.
