You might be better investing your money in new tires before the old ones wear down to the bars.
A high-speed, high-performance tire will have only a small improvement over an all-season tire at $100, UNLESS you run the 4-season tires on 15-inch rims, and switch to 16-inch for the summer tire.
If you decide to store them for more than a short time, and use them more than one season, ask around if the new high-speed tires tolerate well being stored. They may harden with age if you are not careful. (although I would like to have a second on that, since the newer tires may do better in storage than the old ones??).
