Wheels, HP, tank size. About 5 HP and 25 to 30 gal tanks seem to be the norm in the $300 price range. I know a tank that can go vertical can be easier to store.
Have to hit Home Depot, as goadee said. I would definitely prefer that it not be running all the time I'm using it, so a bigger tank is a good thing.
There are wrenches that supposedly crank out about 250 lbs-feet of torque, and other less powerful ones. An air hammer/chisel might be nice--it's what my indy uses to get the upper motor mount bushing out of the bracket!
Don't know squat about brands--or if it matters. Cambell-Hausfeld is at WalMart.
